PAIN AU LEVAIN
This bread is a mix of white/wheat flour. After that it's just starter, water, and salt. Much like a French bread. Pain au Levain has been around for centuries. A great bread at any meal.
TARTINE
This is also knows as white country loaf. It's a mix of mostly white flour, a small amount of wheat. The starter used in a mix of white and rye. Then it's salt and water. Great all purpose bread.
CURRY TOMATO WITH BLACK OLIVE AND RED BELL PEPPER
This is made of white, wheat, and a small amount of spelt. The starter used is a mix of white and rye. Salt, water, warming spices, red bell pepper, tomato paste, and black olives. This loaf is a meal in itself and smells like pizza when baking!
TURMERIC AND FENNEL
A mix of white and whole white wheat. Starter used is a wheat/rye blend. Salt, water, turmeric, black pepper, and fennel. Turmeric is a bitter spice and fennel has a mild licorice or anise taste to it. Goes great with peanut butter.
CINNAMON RAISIN
A mix of white and wheat flour. Starter used is all white flour. Water, salt, cinnamon, and raisins. Perfect for breakfast or a snack!
APPLE RHUBARB
A mix of white and wheat flour. Starter used is a mix of white and rye. Water, salt, apple, rhubarb, warming spices and sugar. This is a great dessert bread, breakfast bread, addictive bread! Not a fan of rhubarb? The sugar and spices take care of that! This loaf only runs through rhubarb season, which is mid May through mid July.
BACON GOUDA CHIVE
A mix of 90% white and 10% wheat with a white and rye starter. The rest is cheese, bacon, and chives. Another loaf that is a meal in itself!
PUMPKIN SPICE
A mix of white and wheat flours, my own blend of pumpkin spice, brown sugar, and of course, pumpkin! This loaf is a favorite in our home!
PURPLE SWEET POTATO CARROT
A blend of white and wheat flours with purple sweet potato, shredded carrot, and wamring spices. Super moist and delicious!
